In order to discern whether or not a supplement is effective, we first look at the ingredients found in each daily serving. In the case of Vitanica FemVitality, a daily serving size of 2 capsules is claimed to supply the body with the nutrients it needs to support libido and sexual function in women.
The three ingredients that make up this formula are Maca root, Fenugreek seed extract and Tribulus whole plant extract. Two of these, the Maca and the Fenugreek, appear on our list of must haves, and are both supplied in a very high quantity of 600mg . This impressed us, and is one of the reasons that FemVitanica made it to our #2 spot rather than #3, even though a first glance at the checks on our Product Comparison Table would suggest the reverse. Fenugreek ensures optimal hormone balance and supports desire and arousal for a stronger libido. Maca is a traditional herb from Peru that is also used to promote libido and sexual function. It is often found in higher quantities in stand-alone products, but it is rare to find such a high quantity in a multi-ingredient formula.
The third botanical ingredient included is Tribulus, a leafy plant that grows in many places around the world and has been used medicinally in both traditional Chinese and Indian medicine. We were pleased to see no significant inactive ingredients in this product – only the ingredients necessary to formulate the capsule itself, with no additives or fillers. Less inactive ingredients in a supplement is always better in our opinion. Just because something is labeled “inactive” doesn’t mean that it can’t affect you. Simpler is best. This is another one of the reasons why this product successfully made it to our #2 spot.
One of the best indicators of how well a product will work is the feedback from people who have used it, so we turned to actual customer testimonials to see what people really thought about FemVitality and whether they would recommend it or not. Unfortunately, we could not find many reviews, but amongst the ones we found on third-party websites, we saw mainly positive comments from customers.
